Asana, meaning “posture,” is the third step of yoga; by maintaining a steady, comfortable posture, you naturally create space in your mind and body at the same time. By looking at every posture you make within a day, you can find which postures you will benefit the most by eliminating. This is how you create space in your schedule. You can lie in one specific posture (as done in yin yoga) to help bring spaciousness into a particular area in the body, or you may choose to sit in a meditation posture and create space in the mind.

If you do one thing only this week, look at all the postures you make in a day and decide which ones are not bringing you joy and are sucking your energy and find a way to eliminate them or at least minimize them.
